Every year, Bond Program projects have finished under budget. The Commissioners Court leveraged these savings by enhancing some projects and adding projects to the program. Here are highlights:

• Springtown Main Street Drainage Improvements – The project was expanded to include construction of improvements based on the drainage study findings.
• Ric Williamson Memorial Highway/Interstate 20 Interchange – Additional funds were used to extend RWMH 300 feet south of the Interstate and to modify the eastbound frontage road to one-way to improve safety.
• Aledo Trail – The project was expanded into a one–way couplet, and pedestrian enhancements were added.
• East Loop – Preliminary work, including an alignment study, schematic design and environmental document, was added to the program by Commissioners in April 2012.
