Across Parker County, the transportation bond program has delivered quicker routes and better connectivity for families, commuters and businesses.

In Weatherford, the Ric Williamson Memorial Highway provides beneficial links between five highways: FM 51, FM 920, US 180, Spur 312 and Interstate 20, forming an alternate route around the north and west sides of the city. It has relieved congestion and mitigated truck traffic in Weatherford, as drivers traveling from Fort Worth to Mineral Wells and points west no longer have to pass through downtown.

In rapidly growing Aledo, the bond program provided an innovative solution to a bottleneck at the FM 1187 railroad crossing. The Aledo Trail project separates north- and southbound traffic into two railroad crossings in a configuration known as a one-way couplet.

In Springtown, the Pojo Road projects significantly relieved traffic traveling on SH 199 and FM 51, and the new roadway forms a direct connection between Springtown High, Middle and Intermediate schools and Goshen Creek Elementary School.
